2022.01.17 14:13 uxdiplomat Help with "Does Not Contain" filter

Hey there,
I'm having trouble with a counter and I need some help.
I want to count all rows in a table, where the "Title" column DOES NOT CONTAIN the string "Pre-order".
Right now this is what I have but it's not working. It's showing a much larger number than what I know to be true.

Sold items=
var solditems=COUNTX(FILTER(mytable, mytable[Title] <> "Pre-order"), mytable[productid]) return IF(ISBLANK(solditems),0,solditems)
I looked at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dax/dax-operator-reference#comparison-operators but couldnt find exactly what I need. I understand "<>" is not the correct operator, even though I used it in the example above.
In Excel, this would be so easy. Just filter using a Text filter and the "Does Not Contain..." option.
I found someone with a similar question but the solution offered (<> %string%) does not work (I tested). And so the op resorts to creating a calculated column and then a measure. I would like to avoid this.

2022.01.17 14:13 Xngears (Gamepass PC) Octopath_Traveler-Win64-Shipping.exe Remains Open in Background After Closing Game

Got this weird issue where whenever I exit from Octopath Traveler, the Octopath_Traveler-Win64-Shipping.exe is still running in the background. I have to manually close it with Task Manager every time. I've tried reinstalling it in different drives but the same issue remains.
It's low memory, but I still don't like leaving an unused background process. It also interferes with my Playnite launcher.

2022.01.17 14:13 Aietizaz Shadow Pokémon and purifying

Hii, so I just need some help understanding these shadow Pokémon. Is it better to purify them? Because I’ve seen some people suggest to keep them as shadows. If it’s dependent on the Pokémon, how would I know which to purify? Is there a criteria I’m looking for when making a decision?

2022.01.17 14:13 kittiesnotsafeforwrk Baby carrier for petite frame

Hi all, I have been wearing my baby in a moby wrap, but he’s almost 5 months and ~16 pounds and my back hurts with the wrap. We have an ergo baby 360 which works well for my husband but I can’t make it small enough for me. I am very short torso-ed and overall small. Recommendations for something with a little better support for a bigger baby. Open to ssc or wraps. Thanks

2022.01.17 14:13 Protowriter469 I'll explain on the way

[WP] You've heard of Elf on the Shelf, but what about Star in a Jar?
The shimmering ball of fire flitted inside its container, soft tings tapping against the jar's glass walls. Its radiating light cast a golden glow in my dark room, gilding the contours of my desk's cluttered surroundings. How fortunate was I to see it fall from the midnight clouds? And to find it so close to the house, nestled in a small crater of its making? Luck like this was rare.
"Well? What do you want?" the little voice bounced around, muffled in the jar.
"I'm sorry?" I gasped, bewildered by its speech.
"You've got me in a jar. Now what?"
"I don't know," I admitted.
"Well, if you could figure that out in a timely fashion, I would appreciate it!" Its shouting shook the glass container, sending a discordant vibration through the desk.
I searched my mind for questions, explanations. "Where do you come from?"
"Are you serious?" It sneered. "The sky. Obviously."
"But, where in the sky?"
"BuT wHeRe iN tHe sKy?" It mocked me. "How many more of these do you have?"
"I'm not sure. I've never met a star before."
"Why is that my fault?"
"It isn't!" I shouted back, defensively.
"Then let me go!"
My hand reached to the lid before I reconsidered. "Where will you go?"
"Somewhere with more square footage, that's for sure."
"Will you return to the sky?"
It was silent again, its frantic zig-zagging flight still. "That's my problem, not yours."
"What's the problem?"
It sighed with frustration. "Falling stars don't return to the sky," it explained. "I fell because...well, it's not important. Because it's not your problem."
"But maybe I can help. Maybe we can bring you back to the sky."
"A lot of stars have tried. Almost all of them have failed," it conceded. "I'm done for, and if it's alright with you, I'd like to die with some dignity."
My heart sank at the dimming glow of its body. "Die?"
"Don't get all weepy on my behalf, lady," it said. "It is what it is."
"We should at least try, shouldn't we? And besides, you said it almost never works. Which means it does sometimes, right?"
"Only one star has ever returned from a fall, and I'm no June."
"What is your name?" I asked.
"Viivi. Yours?"
"Lisa," I replied.
"Well, Lisa, although I appreciate the offer, I'm afraid trying to get me home would only be a waste of both of our time."
"I don't have anything going on," I shrugged. "It's summer. I'm on break." I laid my head on my folded arm, looking levelly into the jar. "So what do we do first?"
"You're really not letting this go?"
"It's the most interesting thing that's ever happened to me."
"Okay, Lisa. I'll humor you. But when we inevitably fail--and we will--you and I split ways."
"Deal," I nodded.
Viivi's shape shifted from a glowing, burning ball of fire to a small woman, no more than six inches tall, dressed in a shining robe and with short, bleach-white hair. "Alright, let me out and let's get going."
"Where are we going?"
"I'll explain on the way."

2022.01.17 14:13 15081990 Hey Guys! Clueless Cocktail enthusiast here looking for some advice/recs. I'm looking for some 'anise tasting' herbs/plants that I can harvest the leaves from to garnish my winter cocktails and add some aroma, catch... I live in an apartment with no outdoor space, so must be able to grow indoors!

Also space isn't optimal, so the smaller the better!
Within the same topic, not anise but say any other 'spicy' aesthetically pleasing plant options just for garnish would also be happy to know!
Cheers.

2022.01.17 14:13 chemical_chords Update on last post

Hi everyone, thank you so much to everyone who commented on my last post, I appreciate your input immensely. I wasn't expecting it to get much attention. If you didn't see it just scroll past this lol. I wanted to clarify a few things, I looked at my Quest account to see previous lab test results and last September the tests I had done were a comprehensive metabolic panel, vit. D, vit. B12, iron, folate, TSH, complete blood count, rheumatoid factors, inflammation markers (c reactive protein, erythrocyte sedimentation rate), lipid panel, ANA IFA screen (checks for up to 150 autoantibodies implicated in autoimmune diseases, mine was negative), angiotensin-1 converting enzyme. All of these came back normal.
I don't think it's fibromyalgia because I don't have pain, just fatigue, brain fog, and muscle soreness after exerting myself, but the soreness isn't debilitating. I also don't think it's Ehlers-Danlos because I don't really have any of the symptoms of that.
I think it'd be a good idea to get checked for past infection of Epstein-Barr virus or Lyme Disease, however I'm not sure what exactly that would accomplish. I guess it'd be good to know, but idk where to go from there. I have never had mono to my knowledge (I only recently had my first kiss, like a few months ago lol, and these symptoms have been going on for years, but then again my mom had mono in college so I suppose if it was in her body and I drank off of her or something maybe I could have been exposed that way?? idk). As for Lyme, I did get a tick on my head as a little kid. Hmm
I did the POTS self test and my heart rate increased by 30 bpm upon standing so I've made an appointment with a cardiologist. However I don't really identify with the dizziness associated with this. I do feel weak/light headed pretty often but not so much dizzy. The chronic fatigue and brain fog are the main things I identify with.
I will update you guys on what happens, thanks so much again for all your help. I honestly kind of wanted to give up on my search for what's wrong with me after having all those tests done. I thought I must be normal and I was just being lazy or dramatic, but you guys brought a lot of things to my attention that I didn't know about, so now I really want to get to the bottom of this (or at least try, lol).

2022.01.17 14:13 nbhu2kiiq are we too generous with QBs drafted in the first round?

honestly, we gave Tannehill 7 years and although he had his moments, his career with us was plagued with inconsistency and injuries. when healthy, he was mostly underwhelming on average. You can sit there and blame the oline, but not every great QB in the league has a solid offensive line. Now, he is with the titans and all I see is a game manager, nothing special. He just landed in the perfect situation and i'm happy for him. Don't you think we got too attached to him hoping he would turn out better all while passing on potential QBs in each of those drafts? We probably had situations where we could have traded up for an upgrade. Look at the cardinals. They wasted no time in replacing Josh Rosen with a competent QB in Murray.
I look at Tua and my concern is are we going to waste another 3 to 4 years hoping he turns into something special? Are we going to go through coach after coach desperately trying to find one that plays to his strengths? We're obviously going to hire an offensive minded coach and probably add more weapons for Tua in the offseason and i'm willing to give him one more year and thats it. I just hope we don't waste another 4 years if next year he hardly makes any progress
i just find it astounding that we have managed to drop the ball for almost 23 straight years on QBs since marino retired.
